SITTGDE013 – Interpret aspects of local Australian Indigenous culture

This part supports the unit “Interpret aspects of local Australian Indigenous culture” relates to people developing the skills and knowledge required to share information about a specific local Australian Indigenous cultures. The unit recognises that there is no single Australian Indigenous culture and emphasises the importance of local cultural knowledge, appropriate behaviour and local community.

In this short course the specific local Australian Indigenous Culture emerges from Kakadu in the Northern Territory. You will be provided with appropriate information, gathered through extensive consultation with a local indigenous communities, and will learn how to share local indigenous cultural information in the “right way”.  Information in this part is set out as follows:
