1. Introduction and welcome

This training tool is developed to comply with the University Work Health and Safety Policy (Pol-044). It includes information about the general conduct and behaviour expected of all users of Engineering laboratories at Charles Darwin University. All staff, students, visitors and contractors are required to read and complete this training prior to gain access to the facilities.

The facilities refer to any room in Purple 2, Purple 4, Purple 12 or Pink 7 where practical experiments may occur.

Assessment

You will be asked to complete a test at the end of this training. This test aims to verify your understanding of the safety procedures explained here. After the successful completion of the test, a digital badge will be issued as proof that you fulfil the safety requirements of the University.
