35 Pinnatifid Leaves

Many Grevilleas have pinnatifid leaves and are often wrongly classified as compound – if you look closely, the lamina is continuous around the veins.

Pinnatifid means they are pinnate-like but not truly pinnate, i.e. simple complex leaves, not compound.

Be aware – Grevilleas can cause allergies in some people.

Before you handle the samples, check if anyone has a known allergy to this plant.

The leaves are lobed approximately halfway to midrib.
