Plant handling hazards
In this unit you will be taking a close look at various plant parts.
The activities will involve:
- Touching samples, which may have soil/growing media on them
- Touching samples which maybe poisonous, have hairs, spines
- Samples with insects on them
- Using microscopes
- Moving around to inspect samples and equipment
- Using scalpels
