Character & Role Analysis
Who will feature in your story? Is it you? Or others?
How are you connected to this ecological restoration story? What is your relationship to the project? Have you been a part of the journey for a while? Are you one of the experts? Are you a passionate participant or are you a motivated observer? How are we as an audience inclined to trust you as the filmmaker?
Who are the other characters involved in the project? Which one or ones will make good “talent” for the film? What are their motivations? What do they want and how will they get it? What must they overcome? How do the characters cooperate? Where is there conflict? Where do they hinder each other?
Create another Miro board to explore the questions posed above for yourself and 2 to 3 of your potential story characters and share the link in the Padlet below. Comment on your peer’s posts about which characters they find the most interesting or compelling.
