- Create your own personal totem – a visual representation that embodies your attributes, strengths and interests
- Complete a mind map that lists your key attributes, strengths and interests about yourself
TOTEMIC IDEAS:
It may be hard to consider an animal, plant or part of the environment that you identify with, you may not have thought of this approach before. This can be from another country, the country you most strong identify with. Remember this is not about an animal that you relate to, it is about an animal that can tell your story, that can be you, and that you can emulate in your learning journey.
We do this as reducing key aspects of your skills and interests into a known entity can help you retain all your strengths in your story, even as the story evolves over time.
If you need help to choose an animal for your totem you may check out this site, but we are aware that some people do not find a good representation of themselves this way, but at least you will know what you are not!
